Protocol and procedures

 

 

Due to COVID-19, Vanity is implementing strict protocols to protect our guests and our employees to the best of our ability. We greatly appreciate the cooperation of our guests during these challenging times. 

  1. We will be accepting Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and Discover as always.

  2. It is so important that guests arrive in a timely manner.

  3. Guests will be required to wear a mask, that secures around their ears, for the entirety of their appointment. If a guest arrives without a mask, we will have some for sale.

  4. Guests may not bring anyone other than themselves to their service appointment, including children. Should a minor above the age of 12 have a service appointment, the parent may drop them off at the door and pick up at the door. Please talk to us and let us know if that is a problem we would be happy to meet you outside to discuss options.

  5. To control the number of people in the salon at any given time, we are asking guests to text the salons upon parking. Our front desk associates will let you know when to enter the salon. 

  6. Please enter through the front entrance ONLY at this time. If you can not walk to the front please call us when you arrive and we will meet you at the back door.

  7.  During the intake process, we will log the guest's temperature, arrival date/time, and have them sign a form stating that they have not been sick in the past 14 days nor have they been around someone who was sick.

  8. Beverage and magazine services will be suspended.

  9. Booking future appointments: To limit the amount of time a guest is in the salon, we will not be rebooking guests while they are in the salon. Instead, we will call them after they leave to set up their next appointment. 

  10. Contactless greetings- As much as we would love to give our guests hugs and handshakes, at this time we will be refraining from doing so.

  11. There will be no self blow-drying at this time. We have to limit the about of guests in the salon.

Sanitation Protocols

  1.  Social Distancing – We are splitting our Service Providers into shifts, thereby reducing the number of people in the building by a minimum of 50%. Service Providers will be working in every other station, leaving an empty station to keep a safe distance.

  2. All service providers will be required to a mask and plastic shield or goggles, during each service. The service provider must wash their hands before putting on any gloves. 

  3. Before and after each service, all service providers will be required to disinfect all combs, brushes, scissors, touched surfaces and tray.

  4. Plastic or fabric capes will be properly disinfected or discarded after each use.

  5. Support staff will be disinfecting commonly used surfaces every 30 minute

 

Need to book an appt?

As of June 7th, we have started to call back clients in chronological order to rebook appointments that had to be canceled due to COVID-19 stay at home order. Please note not all stylists are coming back to work on June 10th. Many stylist have chosen to return to the salon end of June or early July. We are trying our best to get all of our guests an appointment in a timely manner. Please be patient with us.
